Hiring Policy
Effective Date: September 8, 2026 | Last Updated: September 8, 2026
Lesuto Technologies, Inc. ("Lesuto," "we," "us," or "our"), 600 Congress Ave, STE 1400, Austin, TX 78701, publishes this policy so candidates, employees, and partners can see how we hire and how we pay. This is company policy. It is not an employment contract and it does not replace local labor law.
1. Scope
This policy applies to employees, contractors we treat as part of the working team, and people we recruit for those roles. Merchant, supplier, and shopper accounts on the Lesuto platform are not employment. General questions: hello@lesuto.com. Hiring: careers@lesuto.com.
2. Globally Remote First
Lesuto is globally remote first. You may live where you want to live. We encourage that. We measure whether the work is done, not which city or country your desk sits in. Our legal headquarters is in Austin, Texas. That address is the company home for filings and mail. It is not a requirement that you relocate there.
We collaborate across time zones. Core hours, if a role needs them, are written in the job posting. We do not use physical presence in an office as a proxy for commitment.
3. Global Pay For The Same Role
For a given role and level, we set one salary band for the company. We do not cut pay because you live in a lower cost-of-living country, and we do not inflate pay because you live in a higher one. A person doing that job in Texas and a person doing that job in the Philippines are valued as humans doing the same work. They receive the same base salary for that role and level.
Taxes, social insurance, and statutory benefits still follow the law where you work. How we engage you (employee, contractor, or local entity) may differ by country so we can stay compliant. Those mechanics are not a second, hidden pay scale. Equity, if offered, is described in the offer. It is in addition to base pay, not a substitute for location-based discounting.
4. Equal Opportunity
Lesuto is an equal opportunity employer. We hire, pay, and promote without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law. The same remote and pay rules in this policy apply without those distinctions.
If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply or to do the job, write to careers@lesuto.com. We will work with you in good faith.
5. How We Hire
Open roles, when we have them, are listed on www.lesuto.com/careers. You may also send a resume and a short note to careers@lesuto.com. We read applications. We do not sell candidate data. We do not ask you to pay to apply.
Offers are in writing. They name the role, level, base salary, equity if any, and start date. Verbal promises that contradict this policy are not company policy. If something in an offer conflicts with this page, ask us to put the correction in the offer letter.
6. Local Law
Where a country requires a higher minimum wage, overtime rule, leave, or other mandatory term than this policy, that law wins for people working there. We will not use this policy to go below a legal floor. We will not use local floors as a reason to pay someone less than the global band for their role when the band is already above that floor.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top is the current version. Material changes to pay or remote rules will be sent to people already on the team. Candidates should read the version on this URL when they apply.
Hiring: careers@lesuto.com. Founder: arron@lesuto.com.
