Lesuto Technologies, Inc. ("Lesuto," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 600 Congress Ave, STE 1400, Austin, TX 78701, is committed to transparency about how artificial intelligence is used across our platform. This page describes the third-party AI services we integrate with, the purposes they serve, and how data is handled in connection with these services.

1. Overview

Lesuto uses AI-powered features to help merchants and suppliers create content, build websites, generate and enhance media, extract product taxonomy data, and improve operational efficiency. All AI features are optional and credit-based — users choose when and how to use them.

2. AI Services We Use

2.1 Amazon Web Services AI Bedrock

Provider: Amazon Web Services, Inc. ("AWS")
Service: AWS AI Bedrock (managed AI foundation model service)

AWS AI Bedrock is the primary AI service powering the following features on the Lesuto platform:

• AI Website Builder: Conversational, AI-driven website generation and editing for merchant storefronts. Uses Anthropic Claude models (Haiku, Sonnet, and Opus) accessed through AWS Bedrock to generate page layouts, content, and design configurations from natural language descriptions.
• AI Content Generation: Automated product descriptions, title improvements, and facet suggestions for product catalog entries. Uses Anthropic Claude models via AWS Bedrock.
• AI Blog Engine: AI-assisted blog post generation and article series creation for merchant storefronts. Uses Anthropic Claude models via AWS Bedrock.
• AI Taxonomy Extraction: Automated product attribute extraction (color, material, style, and other facets) from product titles and descriptions. Uses a rule-based engine with Anthropic Claude (Haiku) via AWS Bedrock as a fallback for ambiguous cases.
• AI Media — Image Generation (fallback): Text-to-image generation using Amazon Nova Canvas via AWS Bedrock when the primary image generation service is unavailable.
• AI Media — Video Generation: Short video clip generation using Amazon Nova Reel v1.1 via AWS Bedrock, with output stored in Amazon S3.
• AI Media — Background Removal: Product photo background removal using Amazon Nova Canvas via AWS Bedrock.

Data sent to AWS Bedrock for processing includes user-provided text prompts, product information, and uploaded images. AWS Bedrock processes this data in accordance with the AWS Service Terms and the AWS Privacy Notice. AWS Bedrock does not use customer inputs or outputs to train or improve its foundation models.

2.2 Replicate

Provider: Replicate, Inc.
Service: Replicate API (hosted open-source model inference)

Replicate powers premium AI media features on the platform:

• Image Generation: High-quality text-to-image generation using the FLUX.2 Dev model.
• Photo Enhancement: Structure-preserving image enhancement using ControlNet (Canny and Depth models) for product photography, architectural rendering, and other professional use cases.
• Product Packshots: Professional e-commerce product photography with clean backgrounds using the Bria model.

Data sent to Replicate includes user-provided text prompts and uploaded images. Replicate processes data in accordance with the Replicate Privacy Policy.

3. Data Handling

When you use AI-powered features on Lesuto:

• Only the data necessary for the specific AI task is sent to the relevant service (e.g., a product title for description generation, or an image for enhancement).
• We do not send personal customer data (names, emails, payment details, or order history) to AI services for content generation.
• AI-generated outputs (text, images, video) are stored on Lesuto infrastructure and become part of your account content, subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• All AI feature usage is tracked via a credit-based system for billing transparency. Usage logs record the action type, credit cost, and timestamp — not the content of prompts or outputs.

4. User Control

All AI features on Lesuto are opt-in. You are never required to use AI-powered tools to operate your storefront, manage products, or run your business on the platform. You may:

• Choose to write all content manually without AI assistance.
• Upload your own images and media without using AI generation or enhancement.
• Build and configure your storefront without the AI Website Builder.
• Review and edit all AI-generated content before it is published.

5. AI-Generated Content Labeling

Assets created or enhanced using AI tools are internally tagged as AI-generated within the platform. This helps merchants and suppliers track which content was created with AI assistance for their own records and compliance needs.

6. Changes to This Disclosure

We may update this AI Transparency page as we add, modify, or discontinue AI-powered features, or as we integrate additional AI service providers. When material changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised.
