Commission Models
Different product types use different split structures. Every model is visible before you subscribe.
Supplier sets the merchant commission rate. Lesuto takes a flat 10% platform fee (includes CC processing) because the supplier handles their own fulfillment, customer support, and returns. The supplier receives the rest.
Higher-margin digital goods like architectural plans, templates, or creative assets. Fair 3-way split reflecting collaborative value creation.
Products added to an existing sale where the merchant doesn't earn commission. Supplier keeps nearly everything — only CC processing is deducted.
Lesuto sources products directly from manufacturers and suppliers, purchasing inventory upfront. Merchant commission varies based on the profit margin of each product. Because Lesuto owns the inventory and assumes the risk, the split is determined by what the product costs us versus what it sells for — not a fixed percentage.
Lesuto manages products from suppliers end-to-end — we handle customer support, front the money, manage the wholesale relationship, process returns, and absorb the risk. Because we take on the full operational load, our commission varies based on the complexity and cost of managing each product category.
Two Income Streams
Every merchant on Lesuto has two ways to earn — commission on every sale, and passive income from sponsored products on their store
Earn on every sale
When a customer buys a product on your store, you earn commission — set by the supplier and visible before you subscribe. The split is transparent: you, the platform, and the supplier.
Example: A $2,000 dining table at 15% commission = $300 in your pocket per sale.
Passive income — 40% of CPC
When you opt in to advertising, sponsored products appear on your storefront with a subtle "Sponsored" label. You provide the visibility — your store traffic, your audience — and you earn 40% of every click. Zero effort. Completely passive.
Example: 5,000 monthly visitors, 2.5% click rate at $0.15 avg CPC = $7.50/mo passive income on top of your commissions.
Earn Even More
Beyond standard commissions and ad revenue, here are more ways merchants earn on Lesuto
Showcase supplier products during live commerce events. Demo products, answer questions, and drive real-time conversions. Your authentic engagement creates sales that wouldn't happen through a static listing.
Weave supplier products naturally into blog posts, social content, and newsletters. The AI content engine helps generate authentic copy that converts your audience without feeling like advertising.
Some suppliers offer higher commission rates for merchants who feature their products prominently — hero sections, featured collections, homepage highlights. You curate the experience, they reward the exposure.
