Global Availability
Lesuto is available in 74 countries for merchants and suppliers. We use Stripe Connect in 51 countries and Wise in 23 additional countries — ensuring truly global payout coverage.
Lesuto uses a dual-provider payout system to maximize global coverage. When you sign up, we automatically select the best payout provider based on your business country — you don't have to choose.
Stripe Connect is used for businesses in 51 countries where Stripe supports Express accounts. Each merchant/supplier gets their own Stripe account with direct bank payouts, identity verification, and tax reporting.
Wise is used for 23 additional countries where Stripe is not available. Lesuto sends payouts from our Wise Business account directly to your local bank at mid-market exchange rates — the same rate you see on Google, with no markup. No platform fees from Wise — just the transparent conversion rate.
As a U.S.-incorporated company, Lesuto must also comply with OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions. We cannot provide services to businesses or individuals in comprehensively sanctioned countries.
51 countries — direct Stripe Express account payouts
Merchants and suppliers in these countries receive payouts via their own Stripe Connect Express account. Includes identity verification, tax forms (W-8BEN/W-9), and direct bank deposits.
23 additional countries — Wise mid-market rate payouts
In countries where Stripe Connect is not available, Lesuto pays merchants and suppliers via Wise at mid-market exchange rates. During onboarding, you'll provide your local bank details directly — no separate Wise account needed. Payouts arrive in your local currency.
Nearly worldwide — international cards accepted
Customers can shop on any Lesuto-powered storefront from virtually any country in the world. Stripe processes payments from international Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major card networks regardless of where the card was issued.
The only exceptions are customers in comprehensively sanctioned countries listed below, where U.S. law prohibits us from processing any transactions.
Compliance
Lesuto is a U.S.-incorporated company and must comply with OFAC sanctions. We cannot provide services to the following countries and territories.
No merchant accounts, no supplier accounts, and no customer purchases can be processed for individuals or businesses in these countries. This is required by U.S. federal law.
These countries have targeted OFAC sanctions programs (not comprehensive bans). Specific individuals, entities, and sectors are blocked. While not a blanket prohibition, we currently do not support merchant or supplier accounts from these countries due to compliance risk.
Future Expansion
We're constantly evaluating new markets. These are countries we're monitoring for additional payout provider support or regulatory clearance.
